tech gripe

ya know, some days, i think all things tech hate me.

my laptop monitor is on the fritz. i open it, turn it on and the darn thing flickers until i open and close it a few times.

it's probably a short somewhere, but how in the hell do you fix that? LOL i'm just hoping the extended warranty i bought covers it.

if not, i'm gonna have to figure out how to run a regular monitor out of this laptop.

then tonight, i go to record Criminal Minds and CSI:NY and i swear i saw the little "REC" flash on the screen. the red "recording" light was on. i saw "slp" on the screen.

but the tape? has nothing. nada. zip, zilch. last week's stuff.

what. the. frak?

just take a time out and go watch some more Babylon 5 episodes. ;o) You'll feel much better afterwards. ;o)

ya know, i would've if i'd had any new ones to watch at the time.

i have a disk of four eps waiting for later.

i'm slowly encroaching on the end of the series. it will be sad.

but then i have some movies to watch. and some books to read, if i feel like it.

actually, i've been looking for good susan/talia fic. i have found that most of the pages seem to have vanished into the annals of the 'net.

i just finished an unfinished piece that was really good... i hate that.

i'm sure you understand. (seven wonders anyone? ;)
