secondly... THEY MADE GARCIA CRY #@$%@#$%@#$^@#$@#~@#$ no one makes my Penelope cry!!!

thirdly... they made my Emily lose her composure. Dude. Compartmentalization Queen broke and had watery eyes.

bad bad bad

(but oh, so good)

ETA: OMG THE ENDING HOLY FUCK A DUCK SIDEWAYS!!

the finale was actually the first criminal minds ep I've seen. I put it off because I just wasn't interested really, but then there's all this FF out there for CM. I saw absolutely no subtext in this ep, but I loved the show. I'm going to have to watch it now. It was very dramatic and thankfully I was able to eat my bacon this morning without a single qualm. I felt sad for that rat bastard's young brother though, dying at the end :( it wasn't his fault. And I did feel bad for Penelope too. I could tell from the story that she doesn't do road trips with the team much and to have to see the things she did and not have that ability that those that deal with that kind of thing daily have... well, I totally give kudos to the actress. she does a good "cry".

Oh, and feeding the vics to the piggies... reminded me so much of the second Hannibal movie.

oh, you want subtext do ya?

eps 3x4 and 3x9 have the most "overt" but really, most every ep from s3 has some form of subtextyness (remember, it's subtext... think first half of s1 xwp subtext at times)

i've written "squeezing the subtext" reviews for most of s3 and all of s4 up to about three eps back, and they're on the [livejournal.com profile] cm_femslash community :)

Well I'm glad that I decided to watch the show last night because it definately got me hooked and now I'll have something worthwhile to download and watch over the summer hiatus. I'll be starting at season one and looking for the subtext :) trust me I remember season 1 of xwp LOL so I can find it :) I just wish I'd seen some last night.

there was so little of JJ and Emily in the same shot, it was tough. we look for what we call "eyeshagging" and "unnecessary touching"

Emily was not in the first season. They had another agent named Elle Greenaway then.

But where is my subtext?? *wails*

you needed subtext after that???

fine. they gave you a small raft of Garcia/JJ subtext.

;)
