some months ago, i made a passing reference to my soon-to-be-published novel, Banshee's Honor (web version: http://www.geocities.com/shaych3/bh01.htm) ... well time and space being fluid and flexible... and life being what it is, Cavalier Press, the company who had been going to publish the novel, disbanded.

but, worry not... (or worry... your choice LOL)

because I've found a new publisher and they scooped up the book with all glee and happiness so...

Sorry to hear the first one fell through, silly companies not being able to remain open. :p That's awesome that you found a new one to keep it coming though! I'll cross the fingers (on one hand) for you too! You know if you cross the fingers of both hands it's suggested that they wipe each other out! I don't know who said that though .. I'm certainly not a 'philosophizer'(you've seen Dodgeball, yes?).

Trekordy! Ahahahahahahahahahaha!!! THAT brings back memories! I think I still have the Star Trek: The Next Generation: Reunion book on cassette [as read by Gates McFadden] in my closet...unopened, as I haven't had a cassette player in years!

i have an entire bucket full of cassettes... i just can't bring myself to toss them LOL

i even still have my "fanfic on tape" that i'd picked up over the years LOL

in the xena fandom, there was a voice actress who, at first for a lark, recorded some of her own fic onto tape. then she did a friend's stuff. then, when the tapes were so popular, and her cat fell drastically ill, she did requests for a certain amount of money... so there's like two dozen or so stories out there on tape... like audio books.

i have half a dozen of them or so.

heh. at one point in time, i toyed with the idea of recording my own stuff but decided that that was too much like work ;)
