i am allergic to dairy. this is not something i've suffered my entire life, but rather something that developped as i grew older. because of this, i have to take lactaid to eat *anything* with *any* dairy (milk, cream, cheese, ice cream, cheesy sauces, even cheese flavored stuff).
i am also by nature, mildly picky about my food. i do not like super spicy food. i like to *taste* my food not the hundred tons of peppery oniony garlicy crud that's packed on it in order to hide the fact that it's substandard stuff.
i also cannot eat crunchy food because of some (hopefully someday to be fixed) dental issues.
so going out to eat at some place like Carrows (think Dennys) sucks.
80% of the menu had cheese. i did not have any lactaid with me. i refuse to pay 8 dollars for two pieces of bread, some mayo and a slab of turkey.
ugh.
anyway. on the up side, i did get to go to another rock and gem show today. this one was really big... i was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the roseville rock rollers' show was...
with gemfaire in roseville being like microsized (basically two small rooms of dealers) i was pleased to see three decent sized buildings of people with demos as well as a variety of items... not just beads or super expensive precious gem jewelry... there were tons of really cool dealers and i found some nice things to wire wrap. :)
i should post some pictures at some point so y'all can see (if you want to, that is.)
oy. anyway. i was supposed to go to March Crown this weekend but it turned into March Drown and i'm not fond of camping in the rain.
the rock and gem show was much more fun.
