So anyway, we (that would be my ultra cool as Calico Cats mother and I) decided to take a trip down to the Bay Area on Friday. Mostly for the purpose of attending a Gemfaire Rock and Gem show in San Rafael but I had the ulterior motive of Hitting The Beach. Because, you know, me=pisces which of course = water sign.

No, I did not immerse my white butt in the chilly waters of the Northern California Pacific Ocean. Much.

But I did get wet, from the knees down... quite by accident LOL Really. Which made life fun when having to put on wet, sandy shoes just to go look for a cheap pair of replacements.

I think my feet got a cheap version of a chemical peel. :/

But anyway. Bead show. Lots to ogle. Lots and lots to buy, if one is willing to plunk down the cash, and yes, I had some to spare, so I added to my collection of beads. No, I have not discovered the "perfect" bead (as a young lady in high school signed my yearbook... my quest is endless) but I did find several which will hopefully bring much joy to whomever purchases the necklaces I create from them.

Yeah, I shoot the clouds when they're weird, or nifty. Mom caught that nifty shot of the freighter heading out to wherever or into Frisco, not sure which... The beach shots are Muir Beach... the Tree is China Camp... The boats are in a harbor near San Rafael... and I think the mountain is Mt. Tamalpais.

So I'm not much of a tour guide. What do you expect? I was on Bead High. Yup, I am *that* geeky. LOL
