shaych_03 | fuddlecrucking photoshop

you know, i've been using this program for a while... photoshop, that is.... you'd think i'd know how to fix it if it got all carked up, but for some reason, i've been banging my head against a wall of "frack you" from this program.

here's the issue...

i use this filter from flaming pear called "aetherize" it makes neat effects that i haven't seen duplicated in any other filter ...

but like a couple of days ago, it decided not to work. picture me, spending hours attempting to figure out what was wrong. uninstall filter. reinstall filter. uninstall photoshop, reinstall photoshop. find a system safe point and restore to that. i even attempted to stare at my registry and see if there was something there i could figure out (i couldn't. i'm not a programmer and i'm not about to cark up my whole system for one filter)

so anyway... it's fubar again. which leaves me with little choice but to 1) attempt to reinstall it all (pshop, the filters) all over again (which was a bust, since every time i've tried to reinstal, i get to putting in the filters and don't even have to put in the serial codes, which tells me that they aren't fully "Uninstalled") or 2) hope that my ancient desktop will limp to life tomorrow... i need to get a mouse for it though, since the one i had is gone...

and yes, all for one filter. but at least i have a nifty neato gadget that will let me transfer the monster photoshop files (including layers) back and forth -- i have one of those thumb drive thingies...

here's hoping that photoshop 6 and photoshop 7 can talk to each other...

on another note...

i finished a c/o fic but i can't think of a title. how lame is that? LOL

so when i finally figure out what to call it, i'll post.
